Thanks for your work yesterday on the ADXVMA for Sharky indicator.

I've got an idea on how to improve it just a little more.

EOTPRO's HighLevelChop Indicator plots "chop" or "trend" in the top right corner of the chart depending on their formula under the hood.

Since we are using this ADXVMA for Sharky as a chop/trend indicator (especially on higher timeframe charts), I was wondering if you could add "CHOP" when the white dots are plotting and "RISING" when rising and 'FALLING" when falling.

I think the DrawTextFixed command is involved but I don't know much more than that. Also, I think BigMike might know how to do this if you need help.

I had changed the color of the diamonds to black and saved the chart template but when choose another chart template, then come back to the original chart template or if I close ninja down and restart it, the black dots are gold again.

That's weird....any idea why it wouldn't be holding the changed color?

you gotta save your workspace... and or template for chart you're using- tell me if that doesn't work
otherwise, you can edit and recompile - i'll tell you how if this doesn't work

Hey Zeller,

Hope you are having a good weekend. The adxvma alert indicator (v2) has hard coded color (gold)..

I can change it to black in the settings and save the template and save the workspace BUT when I turn off ninjatrader and turn it back on, the chart reverts back to the hardcoded settings.

Can you fix that so the hardcode only references whatever is chosen in the input?

I didn't understand serialization before but I added this thanks to BigMike's implentations on some other codes.

Please see the new file and reference the white dot alerts file also for similar implementation.

WHEN DOWNLOADING THE WHITE DOT ALERTS FILE, YOU DO NOT NEED TO OVERWRITE YOUR OLD FILES - NOTHING WAS CHANGED THERE. NOTES OF CHANGES PLACED NEAR TOP WHEN YOU VIEW THE FILE TEXT - TOOLS>EDIT NINJASCRIPT>INDICATOR

here you go, the murray math is the basic version with hourly setting on all the time, then renamed, no big deal there., the other is available on this thread
